Mermaid in a Cave

I wanted to doodle a mermaid, and get away from my usual characters pale skin tones, so went with this!
Originally it just going to be a sketch, but I kind of kept going with it.
I wouldn't consider this a digital painting, but more of an experimentation of different brush styles. I found some great pieces of art work which used an almost "powdery" looking brush, so experimented with this, mostly using it in the hair.
I'm not sure what I think. I wasn't exactly paying that much attention to anatomy in this drawing, so it might be a little off as well.
