Hi there, it's been a while, almost a year in fact.
And I can truthfully say that not trying to keep this place afloat has been a big weight off me. I was constantly worrying about views, likes, all that kind of stuff, trying to make myself popular enough to try and make a living from my art and this website.
In total over the years I made £30. £25 of that was just one commission. I probably made £0.18 or so if you converted points for commissions into real money too. As you can guess that isn't really enough to live off, and I resorted to savings to pay for car/computer/uni.
I have grown up and realised that I just can't make money in art. And that's okay. It was a dream that I now understand wouldn't be possible. The time was never there and the correct audience was never there.
I remember ages ago someone saying to me that when people go to uni they tend to drop off this site and lose a lot of friends. I can confirm, that despite trying not to, it has happened. University eats up all the time, leaving barely any free time to let alone eat or sleep, forget about trying to maintain an online presence - or try to make money either!
And if I'm perfectly honest, the last few years have been so time consuming and busy, I haven't had any kind of spare creativity. All of it has been directed into my course.
Now I still check this site, every day in fact. I still look at friends art, though I admit I skip a lot of the work of people I follow on here. So any messages, likes, or notes I will still fully receive and read.

The best place to find me is Tumblr, honestly, I'm on there every free minute I can find. Gotta get some memes.

I just want to add. This is in no way me abandoning this website. I may come back posting as much as I previously did (Though I may start a new account). I make no promises about this though. I just want to get through university. That comes first and foremost.
